Platly provides international money transfer services that allow you to send money to friends, family, and businesses across borders. Our services include:

Eligibility

To use Platly services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Not be located in a country where our services are prohibited
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Account Terms

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You must promptly update your account information if it changes
  • You may not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature
  • One person or legal entity may only maintain one account

Transaction Terms

Sending Money

  • All transfers are subject to verification and approval
  • Transfer limits may apply based on your account level and verification status
  • Fees and exchange rates are displayed before you confirm the transaction
  • Once initiated, transfers cannot be canceled (except where legally required)
  • Transfer times vary by destination country and payment method

Receiving Money

  • Recipients must meet local requirements to receive funds
  • Funds may be held pending verification or compliance checks
  • Recipients are responsible for any local taxes or fees

Fees and Exchange Rates

  • Transfer fees are clearly disclosed before transaction confirmation
  • Exchange rates are determined at the time of transaction
  • Rates may include a margin over the interbank rate
  • We reserve the right to modify fees with reasonable notice

Prohibited Uses

You may not use Platly services to:

  • Transfer funds for illegal activities
  • Engage in money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Send money to sanctioned individuals or countries
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Defraud or harm others

Compliance and Verification

Platly is required to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations. We may:

  • Request identity verification documents
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification
  • Report suspicious activities to relevant authorities
  • Freeze transactions pending investigation

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Platly or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, profit, or funds) arising out of the use or inability to use Platly services, except where prohibited by law.

We are not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by third-party payment processors or banks
  • Exchange rate fluctuations
  • Local laws or restrictions affecting receipt of funds
  • Actions of recipients or beneficiaries

Service Availability

Platly does not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue services at any time
  • Restrict access to certain countries or regions
  • Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Suspend services for security reasons

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

  1. Contact our customer support team first
  2. We will investigate and attempt to resolve the issue
  3. If unresolved, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration
  4. Class action lawsuits are waived where permitted by law

Refund Policy

Refunds are available only in limited circumstances:

  • If a transfer fails due to our error
  • If required by applicable law
  • If the transaction was unauthorized

Fees are generally non-refundable once a transfer is completed.

Your use of Platly services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Modifications

Platly may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or service notification.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, United States. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Failure to complete verification
  • Extended period of inactivity
